Dexcaro Urban Food – Private restaurant “Ossadía”

Less of a restaurant and more of an eating experience — Dexcaro for everyday Urban Food, street-style and tasty. While the Ossadia side is a fine dining eating experience of Michelin Quality.

The Chef’s Tasting Menu is sublime, with a style and delivery that make it part theatre and part gastronomic delight. Starting with an amuse bouche in the main restaurant, you are then whisked into the kitchen for a taste of what’s to come and to meet your chefs. Then, it’s onto your own private dining room extended from the kitchen area. Of course, the food was delicious, but the wine/beer pairings took it the next level. Every course explained by our lovely server or by Carlos, the Chef/Owner himself. His passion for his food is contagious. This has gone straight onto my list of “best tasting menus in Denia” at #1. I am looking forward to going back and taking foodie friends for the experience. Bravo.

PS: The Tasting Menu, with wine pairing, is 110Euro. This felt a bit steep when I made the reservation but it’s an absolute bargain once you experience it. Treat yourself 😉
